Heavy stuff, man: Watch this guy lift a Mini Cooper using an exoskeleton

Automakers use technology to improve their vehicles and provide more whiz-bang gadgetry for owners. Bored engineers use technology to lift those cars right off the ground -- well, one does, at least.
After creating an exoskeleton capable of helping him curl 275 pounds on national television, James Hobson --

Famed rapper insists world is flat

Technically Incorrect offers a slightly twisted take on the tech that's taken over our lives.

Earth from space.

When I first moved to the Bay Area, I lived under the assumption that the Golden Gate Bridge was flat.

One day, I drove along it and suddenly realized that parts of it are uphill. Yes, it's curvy.
Atlanta-based rapper and producer B.o.B has had the reverse realization. Once he believed the world was curvy. Now he's convinced it's flat.
In a series of tweets posted on Sunday and Monday, B.o.B presented his thesis with words  and pictures. He offered drawings and even intimated that the moon landings weren't all that.

In one tweet, for example, he suggested it was strange that the New York City skyline was visible from Bear Mountain in Harriman State Park, 60 miles away.

20 smart new and improved features in Windows 10

Introduction

With Windows 10, Microsoft is trying to keep some of the touch and tablet features it created for Windows 8, combine them with the familiar Start menu and desktop, and run it all on top of an improved operating system with more security, a new browser, the Cortana assistant, its own version of Office for on-the-go editing and plenty of new features intended to make life simpler.
Of course, that also means it's very different to use, whether you come from Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows XP. You have to look in a new place even to turn your PC off.
On top of that, Windows 10 is more than just a PC operating system; it's also what will run on Windows phones – and on small tablets as well, because a 6-inch phone and a 7-inch tablet aren't such very different devices. Microsoft is expecting people to put Windows 10 on a billion devices (which ought to encourage more app developers to at least take a look at building their apps for Windows phones and tablets, as well as for Xbox One and HoloLens).

We're almost certain that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be this big

Leaks and rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S7 - and its heavily rumoured Edge sibling – have been heating up in recent weeks. A lot of it is spurious, but evidence pointing to the phones' screen sizes is looking more solid.
Import data from India, called Zauba, picked up both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge as they entered the country on a South Korea shipment.
The documentation includes prototype names of SM-G930 and SM-G935 with screen sizes of 5.1-inch for what we believe is the Galaxy S7, and 5.5-inch for the Galaxy S7 Edge.
It matches up with previous rumours we've seen, and these official channels usually show what is set to come.

Surprise, surprise

The documents show that the devices have only just got to India for testing purposes, but hopefully it's all on schedule.
Here we didn't get a better look at the spec, but we're expecting an Exynos 8890 processor, 12MP camera and 4GB of RAM.
As for a release date, we anticipate Samsung will keep to its normal schedule and announce something at Mobile World Congress at the end of February.
